What To Expect

In this reach stacker operator training course, learners operate a reach stacker or container handler by understanding the functions of starting, shutting down, and operating procedures. On-site training or apprenticeship is available.
Reach Stacker Course Description
This reach stacker course has 10 modules. Learners credited with this standard will be capable to:

Discussing and applying the regulatory framework for operating reach stackers.
Describing the reach stacker to be operated.
Demonstrating mechanical awareness of the selected machine.
Inspecting the selected reach stacker.
Handling loads with a reach stacker.
Operating the reach stacker.

Reach Truck Operator Training

In this course, you will learn how to inspect all the parts of a reach truck and how to operate a reach truck with the load positioned evenly. Our trainees are also able to identify and classify the load, handle and move the freight while operating this machine in accordance with standards and its performance capabilities. They are also able to monitor the fitness of the reach truck.
The Learner will be able to know the following:

How the stability and handling characteristics of a reach truck differ from those of forklifts and automobiles.
What to look for during a pre-operational inspection. And How to lift and move loads safely.
How to properly travel on sloped surfaces and How to properly lift personnel with approved lifting devices.

What precautions must be taken when working in trailers and railcars. And also, how to Operate a reach truck with competency.

Pallet Jack Operator Training

We do train learners hot to be Pallet Jack Operator training that falls under the Unit Standard: 242981. This training is offered at our training centers or on-site training and we do operate at a nationwide basis.

The person credited with this unit standard is able to operate a basic purpose lift truck. They are able to access emergency support and services in the case of an emergency while operating a lift truck. After completion, The learner will get a certificate and a license which allows him or her to operate a pallet jack.

Order Picker Training

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COURSE

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are compulsory Lifting machine training requirements for safety purposes.
Learners joining the Lifting machine training course will prove competence in communication of NQF Level 1. National ID/passport is required and a code 10 driver’s license. Your CV is necessary for job assistance as it will be presented to potential employers and companies for replacement after finishing the course.
