EARTH MOVING TRAINING COURSES
Shermitex Academy offer training courses in security training for both Sasseta and Psira Courses. Security Training Grades EDC, B, A. Each Grade take 5 days training and after completion, a learner will be registered with Psira and will get a certificate of completion.
We also train special courses for both Psira and Sasseta like CIT, Reaction, Firearm, instructor course, control room.
Dump Truck Training School
In this dump truck training course, there are two types of dump truck i.e., ADT and RIGGID BODY (777) our driving school trains learners how to inspect and how to operate a dump truck according to the manufacturer’s specifications and worksite requirements. Learners get accredited dump truck certificate and license after the completion of training. Dump truck is commonly used in the mines and dumping sites. i.e., mining industry, construction industries and lifting industries.REQUIREMENT FOR THE COURSE
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are compulsory dump truck training requirements for safety purposes. Learners joining the dump truck training course will prove competence in communication and mathematical literacy at NQF Level 1. National ID/passport is required and a code 10 driver’s license. Your CV is necessary for job assistance as it will be presented to potential employers and companies for replacement after finishing the course.Front End Loader Training

In this Excavator operator training course, you will learn how to inspect and operate an excavator according to the manufacturer’s specifications and worksite requirementsCourse Description
This training program is for all type of learners who are competent to work with excavator as applied by the OHSA. These people will operate an Excavator when performing their daily duties. We conduct a formative theoretical assessment at the beginning of the course to gauge the learner’s initial understanding (novices only). At the end of the training, a summative theoretical and practical application assessment is conducted, to find if the learner is competent; if not, additional developmental areas are identified and suggested.Entry requirements
Grade 9 certificate or ABET level 4 is required to attend this course and a code 10 national driver’s license is mandatory, if operating on South African roads in accordance with The National Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996Grader Training School
Our school trains learners how to inspect and operate a motor grader according to the manufacturer’s specifications and worksite requirements. This unit standard forms part of the National Certificate: Construction Plant Operations (SAQA ID 65789). Learners who achieve the course objectives will, upon completion of the course, contribute to the development of a professional community of construction plant operators.
